Low Carb Delicious Waffles

ingredients:

What You'll Need
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 heaped scoop of vanilla clean lean protein
  • 80ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp ground almonds or LSA
  • 1/4 tsp gluten free baking powder
  • Real vanilla (optional)
  • Warmed berries to serve

How You Do It
  1. Place all the ingredients except the berries and butter in a bowl and beat with an electric beater until well combined.

  2. Preheat the waffle maker on setting 3 for at least 5 minutes

  3. Brush waffle maker with melted butter and pour in the mixture. Pour in enough mixture so the indentations are just covered. Cook the waffles for 5-7 minutes until crispy. In my waffle maker this makes 3-4 rectangle waffles.

  4. Warm the berries to serve on top

NOTES:

Notes
I keep my coconut cream in the fridge so it is solid when I measure it.
There are many possibilities for variations on this recipe, you could add good green stuff or cacao, you could have one waffle with an egg and bacon or you could you chocolate clean lean protein!
